vCanvas Information
September 18th, 2008vCanvas is a custom piece of software that automatically creates animations from drawing input. I’m constantly trying to find ways to combine my drawings with my programming knowledge - vCanvas is one way for me to do this.

found your work on rhizome. thinking of curating an exhibit using the rhizome curatorial tool. if so, would you update your entry?
alternatively, i will curate an online exhibit via another host. will return to your site to view your work further. might you send me an artist’s statement if you haven’t one on your site that you’d like to be viewed in the show’s context?
the exhibition concerns technology and its use or abuse, in terms of people learning from technology’s innovative possibilities; or, becoming mechanized themselves through thoughtless, repetitive behaviors interacting with machines/technology. the statement on rhizome for your diagrams piece resonated with the show focus because you used advanced technology to speak about the technology displaying, or not displaying, and the viewer perceiving, or not perceiving, meaning.
many thanks for an interesting and visually beautiful as well as fascinating site,
violet
